Department Overview

Push To Talk Over Cellular is the next generation PTT application which is deployed on multiple platforms like Android, iOS, Embedded Devices and Windows. The client application is build on top of a cross platform library which serves as the heart of the application. This library which is known as the Core Development Engine (CDE) is written on top of PJSIP Stack with application level logic to accommodate client specific features across different platform. CDE is multi threaded C library which lies below the PTT GUI. CDE modules are segregated according to their functionality with highest priority given to the audio related operations. CDE functionalities can be broadly categorized into following:
