About the role

This is a key position in the finance team and is critical to the Company operations & statutory compliance. The primary responsibilities would include:

  • Assist in regular monitoring of the transactions of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka entities, their operations, and compliance
  • Assist in making the overseas payment, accounting for exchange fluctuations, if any and appropriate inclusions in the region MIS
  • Handle the import process, coordinate with the clearing agent for upcoming shipments and inform the WH team on real time basis
  • To verify & account the cartage invoices and ensure all the invoices for the period are booked appropriately
  • Validate the inward invoices, delivery documents and process the duty payment / regularly reconcile the duty balances
  • Assist in maintaining appropriate GST records of the Co and related reconciliation and filing of timely returns
  • Assist in monthly closing of books and preparation of MIS, tracking forecast and actuals
  • Keep a track on forecast of overseas payment, ensure all invoices are processed for payments to help meet the forecast
  • Prepare the bank documents for LC and TT submissions for exports transactions
  • Assist in managing the inventory processes, monitoring location wise book balances and physical inventory checks
  • Responsible for regular reconciliation of warranty ledger, identify replacement cost differences, if any and ensure credits are rightfully recorded
  • Be an important member to assist in the audit process, both internal and external

Education and work experience requirements:

  • A qualified CA with 0-1 year of working experience
  • Candidate should be well conversant with statutory & tax regulations like PF, ESI, TDS etc.
  • Willingness to handle business operations and have a hands-on FP&A / data analytics experience
  • Sharp business acumen, proven advanced Excel skills & tech savvy.
  • Ability to manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency
  • Should have been a member of a team handling big4 audits, capability of working with multiple stake holders
